3.      Images and details: Make sure there are clear images that show the item from different angles. Please ask for more pictures or information if something is unclear.

4.      Communication: Ask questions to the seller to make sure you have all the relevant information. Reputable sellers should be willing to answer your questions.

5.      Meeting point: When you meet with the seller, choose a public place with many people. Avoid going to an unfamiliar place alone.

6.      Payment: Only send cryptocurrencies if you are sure of the seller and he looks reputable. We advise either a personal meeting or, if this is not possible, especially in the case of large amounts, to use so-called escrow services.

7.      Personal information: Don't share sensitive personal information with the seller. This information is usually not necessary for the purchase.

8.      Research: Research the seller if possible. Look at reviews or feedback from other buyers to get a better understanding of the seller's reliability.

9.      Negotiation skills: If the price is negotiable, be polite and respectful in your negotiations. Fair treatment can lead to a better result.

10.   Used items: For used items, ask about the condition, history, and reason for the sale. The more you know about it, the better you can assess whether the item meets your expectations.

11.   Return policy: Clarify in advance whether you have a right of return and under what conditions. This can increase trust in the seller and provide you with security.

 

For the seller:

12.   Accurate description: Make sure your ad includes all the important details of the item. Honesty is important to attract potential buyers.

13.   High-quality images: Take clear and well-lit images of the item. Pictures from different angles can help buyers get an accurate picture.

14.   Pricing: Research similar items to set the right price. An unrealistically low or high price can deter prospective buyers.

15.   Communication: Be friendly and respond quickly and in a polite and professional manner to inquiries from potential buyers. Clarify any questions and provide additional information if needed. Avoid bringing personal or emotional details into communication.

16.   Meet safely: If you're meeting with a buyer in person, choose a safe, public place. Avoid going to an unfamiliar place alone.

17.   Privacy protection: Don't share unnecessary personal information with potential buyers. Only disclose the information that is necessary for the sale.

18.   Selling points: Emphasize the positive aspects of the item in your ad. Why is this item special or attractive? Think about what features might appeal to buyers.

19.   Freshness: Keep your ad up to date. If the item has been sold or is no longer available, remove the ad to avoid unnecessary requests.

20.   Shipping safety: If you need to ship items, use reliable shipping services and make sure the item is well packaged to prevent damage.

21.   Return policy: Clarify in advance whether you accept a return and under what conditions. This can increase buyer confidence.

22.   Responsible processing: When a buyer picks up the item, ensure a smooth and secure process. Create a receipt and make sure both sides are happy before the transaction is completed.

23.   Follow-up: After the sale, you can send a quick message to the buyer to thank them and see if the item lived up to expectations.

24.   The user is obliged to place each advertisement in the appropriate category and to describe his respective offer truthfully and stating all relevant features and characteristics in words and, if possible, also by means of meaningful images. Classifieds can support the user, e.g. by suggesting a category or other characteristics of the offered item based on the given title. The user is obliged to carefully check all entries and only accept appropriate suggestions for his advertisement.

25.   The posting of advertisements, texts, images or other content that violates legal provisions, these terms of use, the rights of third parties or common decency (hereinafter referred to as "illegal content") is prohibited.

 

For both sides:

26.   Privacy: Be sure to protect sensitive information. Do not share personal or financial information through the platform.

27.   Safe online behavior: Don't click on suspicious links or give out sensitive information through unsafe channels.

28.   Reviews: After successful transactions, you can rate the other user to provide feedback to other potential buyers or sellers.

29.   Patience: Not every request or ad will result in a successful transaction. Be patient and be willing to keep looking or offering.

If something seems suspicious to you, it is advisable to be careful and cancel the transaction if necessary. On the other hand, it is essential to focus on transparency, respect and communication both when buying and selling. The key to successful transactions is to maintain fair and safe dealings with each other. By being honest about the items on offer and communicating politely, you create a relationship of trust that leads to positive experiences. Ultimately, it's all about finding a balanced approach: trust your gut, be alert to suspicious situations, but at the same time practice responsible and respectful interaction to enable successful business.
